About Taylor

Taylor Spratt is a Jamaican author of spicy paranormal romance. A lawyer by trade, she traded that in to follow her true passion: exploring exciting supernatural worlds. She has been publishing since 2019, and her books are read in six languages: English, Spanish, German, French, Dutch, and Italian, with a growing readership in Spain that she is still slightly bewildered and entirely delighted by.

All of her series live in one connected universe called Dominion, where rejected mates, wolf shifters, vampires, forced proximity, and enemies to lovers collide. Her heroines refuse to be possessed. Her heroes want to possess them anyway. She spent years building an argument for a living. These days she creates grand, diverse and truly exciting worlds.

Yes. Poison Penitentiary, Blood Moon Shifters, and Rejected Monster Mates all share the Dominion universe. Poison Penitentiary and Blood Moon Shifters take place about ten years apart, and sharp-eyed readers will catch familiar faces crossing between them.

Do you know the ending before you start writing?

Usually I see the ending in my head months before I write it, and then I spend the whole book excited to finally reach it.

How spicy are we talking?

Maximum steam. These are 18+ reads, and they earn it. If you like your romance slow-burning and chaste, my books will set your bookshelf on fire, consider yourself lovingly warned.

Why write under a pen name?

Because a girl is allowed her secrets. Taylor is the version of me that gets to play in Dominion, and some doors are better kept just slightly ajar.

What does Jamaica put into your books?

More than most readers realize. The heat, the storms, the superstition, the way an island teaches you that beautiful things can also be dangerous, it is all in there, even when the moon over the page is a blood moon.
